Management / Sustainability – Request for Possible Support for a Non-Profit Environmental Project
Dear Sir or Madam,
We at the association Gaia for Sea Rescue are currently building a self-developed SWATH boat in Zurich as a community-based, publicly accessible environmental, campaign, and association vessel.
With this project, we hope that one day we may even sail to the Mediterranean to raise awareness of the growing burden on the oceans caused by shipwrecks and maritime legacy pollutants. At the same time, the project is intended to inspire people to engage with environmental awareness, sustainable technology, and community involvement.
The boat is being built and developed on a voluntary and public basis and is increasingly becoming a place of encounter and learning for interested people.
For the current construction phase, we would need, among other things, the following materials:
approx. 80 spruce/fir planks (approx. 50 × 250 × 5000 mm)
stainless steel screws and various fastening materials
epoxy resin and suitable composite materials
Since Kibag AG is active in the fields of wood, building materials, and infrastructure, we would like to kindly ask whether there might be any interest in supporting our non-profit project through material donations or a discounted project price.
